Patman2

Name: Patrick Smith

I Love Comics. In my family it's widely believed that I learned how to read from the old Spider-Man comics that were lying in a box in our attic. From there I saved my money for weeks on end and then when I had enough I would head to the local CVS and grab a whole slew of comics. Through middle/high school my intake slowed down but I grabbed some trades from time to time. But now I'm back and with a vengeance!

Some of my favorite ongoing titles include: Amazing Spider-Man, Atomic Robo, Green Lantern, Jonah Hex, The Flash, Batman and Robin, Chew, Guardians of the Galaxy, Hellblazer, Power Girl, New Avengers, Punisher(Only if Rick Remender is writing), Northlanders, Captain America, The Unwritten, and The Muppet Show.

And some of my favorite books on my book shelf are: Watchmen, The Dark Knight Returns, Alias Ultimate Collections 1 &2, Secret Wars, Marvels Finest: Avengers The Kree-Skrull War, Fell: Feral City, JLA: Justice for All, Batman: The Long Halloween, Jinx, Green Lantern: Rebirth, Identity Crisis, Northlanders: Sven the Returned, New Avengers Vol. 1, Sin City Vol. 1- 7, Queen and Country Vol. 1 - 4, Starman Vol. 1-3, Scott Pilgrim Vol. 1-5, Nextwave: Agents of H.A.T.E Ultimate Collection, Batman: Year One, Afrodisiac, Scud The Disposable Assassin: The Whole Shebang.

I'm not really familiar with Evan's established work, But he seems like he could be a good fit for Cap.

I'm still onboard for at least three issues with this new team but one of the things I this announcement isn't exactly exciting for me. But that's mostly because I'm not familiar with either of the creatives past work.

Great review, I'm not reading siege but I think this may be one of those event comics that I pick up in trade. But I did See the spread of Cap smasihing in Osborns face and I want that painted on the side of the friggin white house. Thats how awesome it was.
