I've done foolish things on eBay - I've gone back and bought all missing issues of both Grant Morrison's New X-Men and Joss Whedon's Astonishing.  Even though I had the trades.  A strange switch went off and I needed to own them.  Now, they're sitting in the box, untouched and unread.  And the killer is...I don't even really want them anymore.

This issue was THE TITS!  Been reading GL for a year or so, read everything since Johns started, and adored this issue.  The moment encapsuklated by the lines "You're a little pale for a guardian...you could use some colour..." made my screech with joy.  Yes, cheesy.  Yes, obvious.  But awesome.  This is the best reason to be reading mainstream ...

I'm loving Blackest Night for all it's crazy sci-fi horrir shlocky fun.  It's big, broad storytelling.  Plus, asiode for Batman and GL my DC knowledge is fairly limited, to it's introducing me to plenty of new characters. Invincible Iron Man - likewise, I've loved this series since issue 1 and that massive arc was great. Unwritten - this is the real 'meat and potatoes' series...

Great article - I forwarded this to a non-comics-fan-friend and apparently he's printed it off and copied it for several of his friends.  Can't think of higher praise than that!

Invincibvle Iron Man and X-Menr Legacy for definite, almolst tempted not to pick up BN: Superman though.  Guess it's not too bad to throw in another title, it's not like it's been a week series, but money is tight.

Is it just game/movie tie-ins?  I remember non-comic-reading friends of mine going crazy for the Halo graphic novel that came out a while back, and when I finally got to read it was thoroughly underwhelmed (and I'd played the game).  As for GoW - playing through that was one of the fullest, most repetetive gaming experiences of my life.
